What Can Increase The Overall Cost

There are some factors that cause the cost to go up. These need more time and materials to stain or protect from getting stained.

4-foot posts are $20 a post to stain while 10-foot and taller posts are $25 per. Ladders are needed to reach the top of taller posts, which is another tool we have to bring and it takes more time to stain.

If your deck has footing or a retaining wall it’s $100 flat to cover it with tarps and/or plastic. If you have a few plants on or around your deck it’ll cost $30 to protect them while if it’s a lot of plants the cost is $50. It can be difficult to work around plants.

Covering pools to prevent any overspray from getting in the water or on the cover is $50.
